Transdermal drug delivery system (TDDS)

Toyochem offers contact manufacturing for multiple TDDS products as well as manufacturing and sales of our own original TDDS products.
We also serve as a contract manufacturer for patch-type cosmetics using transdermal delivery systems.
Because TDDS products tend to be easily accepted in the Japanese market, many related products exist in the market, including Over The Counter (OTC) drugs. Entry of new TDDS products has been increasing, especially prescription drugs and its market continues to expand.
Toyochem's strength is the development of our own medical adhesives, the key materials in TDDS products, which enables the most appropriate product designs to be produced in line with the characteristics of each active ingredient. In addition, our drug manufacturing plant is compliant with good manufacturing practices (GMP) and the R&D center can support LCM of drugs form changes to TDDS, as a new administration route, in collaboration with pharmaceutical companies.
