Kumazasa bamboo is an indigenous Japanese grass naturally occurring all over the country. It continues to absorb the ingredients in the ground without withering for 60 to 120 years, and it has a very strong vitality to withstand no withering even in the snow. It has long been known that wrapping dumplings in bamboo grass has an antiseptic effect, and that bears eat it first after hibernation to regulate their stomachs and intestines. As academic research progresses, the immune and intestinal benefits of kumazasa are being proven. We make effective use of Hokkaido-grown Kumazasa, a biomass material produced in Japan. We extract and refine it at our own plant using our own unique manufacturing method, and we are expanding the use of this functional material in various business fields.
